- April 16, 2008 DSL customers in the Dama/Newcastle are

- April 7, 2008 A change has been made to how
kona.midcoast.com/free.midcoast.com email addresses receive spam.
Previously, we identified spam with a PJM in the subject so users could
sort or filter by subject and delete it, and users had the option of
having us delete PJM messages before they hit the Inbox.
The new
method is as follows: If you have the optional filter setup on our server to
delete them before they hit the Inbox, that will happen as usual. For
everyone else, mail identified as spam will go into a separate
mailbox for spam. This mailbox is accessible via Squirrelmail webmail
from our website. Spam more than 30 days old will be purged from this
spam folder automatically.
This change will result in less spam getting into people's Inboxes. If
the change is received well, it will be implemented on the other
midcoast.com servers.
- April 4, 2008 Our Jackson Hill repeater was out of service for about 20 minutes while a
piece of equipment had and problem. This was quickly corrected and all is well.
