• December 31, 2002 10:00am Northland has repaired the T1 problem that started yesterday and prevented the use of the Washington and Liberty numbers.
• December 30, 2002 1:40pm 563-6622 is having problems. This has been determined to be a Tidewater Telecom problem and we have notified them of the problem. Update: 2:42pm. Tidewater has fixed it.
• December 30, 2002 Washington and Liberty numbers are having problems. This has been traced to a Verizon T1 problem and they have been notified and are working on it's repair.
• December 26, 2002 7:30pm 563-6622 is having problems. This has been determined to be a Tidewater Telecom problem and we expect them to be working on it first thing in the morning. Update: Noontime - Tidewater has fixed this and 563-6622 is working normally now.
• December 26, 2002 Power is out on Benner Hill and someone has been dispatched to start the generator there. This affects some wireless customers as well as the Union 785-6622 dialup number. There is also a problem with the 589-3003 Liberty number. We hope to fix that this afternoon. Update 9:45am. Benner Hill is fixed - it was not power related. Update 4:15pm. Liberty is fixed.
• December 21, 2002 12:15am. The server for midcoast.com will be down for about 10 minutes to change a hard drive in the redundant drive array. (We are not pleased with these IBM hard drives and will be picking out better ones)
• December 17, 2002 5:30pm. A new SSL certificate has been installed on www.midcoast.com and will be good for two years.
• December 17, 2002 12:15am. The server for midcoast.com will be down for about 10 minutes to change a hard drive in the redundant drive array.
• December 16, 2002 People in Belfast are having trouble with wireless We are working on it.
• December 14, 2002 Last night one of the two T1s to Damariscotta failed. This caused some of the people in Damariscotta and Lincolnville DSL to not be able to surf. Things have been rerouted this morning at 9:30am to not use the failed T1, fixing things for everyone. We will be investigating why the T1 line went out.
• December 12, 2002 11:30am. 48 more modems were added to 15006997200 and 24 more modems were added to 15006997201.
• December 5, 2002 12:15am. The server for midcoast.com will be down for about 10 minutes to change a hard drive in the redundant drive array.
• December 4, 2002 Union dialup and wireless customers who use Benner Hill are having problems this morning. We have people working on it. Update 10:00am. Things are fixed. The problem was a bad ethernet switch port at Benner Hill.
